WE NEED
- At least 3 by 3 feet of space, preferably near but obfuscated from the scene to be recorded
- At least 60 minutes per room (in certain circumstances we can record a room in 30 minutes).
- Two power outlets (15Amp or higher circuit breaker)
- All on-line forms completed - this allows us to give you the best heads up of any required disruptions for you and your customers while we are on site.
WE WOULD LIKE
As the onboarding forms will indicate, once we start shooting a scene, nothing can change in that scene until we are done shooting. There can be no 'live' objects recorded in the scene (movement and animations are added only in post at this time). Even if there are 500 objects in a room, bumping into and moving one chair can be disastrous.
We cater design each shoot for our clients in the onboarding process so when the invariable object is moved during a shoot, we can gracefully recover. No time of day is too late or too early* for a shoot, and we're pretty crafty in figuring out ways at capturing good angles. We will not move objects or merchandise on site, though we are known for jamming a camera around corners and taking every minute we can squeeze in before a customer or employee walks into the shot.
We also render drafts on site to further guide the shoot as it progresses.
* For inside reconstructions where the lighting is controlled. Outside photogrammetry in low light is sometimes possible, but can incur a substantial price increase for the overall scope of the reconstruction project.
